Concert: Esther Abrami

A violinist and composer, Esther Abrami has established herself as one of the leading figures in the revival of classical music. She is challenging the conventions of a world renowned for its conservatism by making this repertoire accessible to a new generation.

A graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, she signed with Sony Music even before completing her studies and has since enjoyed a highly acclaimed international career. She plays a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin dating from 1857.

Her new show marks an important milestone: she will be accompanied by an all-female orchestra, in keeping with her commitment to promoting the visibility of women in classical music. On stage, Esther Abrami will perform her new compositions and present her new album, whilst showcasing often-overlooked female composers.
The programme will also bring together her various influences, revisiting works from her previous albums, notably film scores that have contributed to her success.
