The Friday 20 November at 20 a.m00
Le Cargö 9 Cours Caffarelli 14000 CAEN
With Jeune & Laide, Camille Yembe unveils an intimate and powerful debut album, a blend of pop, rap and soul influences. Through stories marked by youth, lack and the quest for identity, she transforms her flaws into strength and asserts a deeply personal style.
A native of Brussels, Camille Yembe’s music is sensitive and direct, informed by her background and multiple influences. Working with the likes of Lous and The Yakuza and Ino Casablanca, she has developed a world of resilience, emotion and pop energy.
Buoyed by a singular voice and a strong aesthetic, she has established herself as one of the new French-language artists to watch closely.
