A drink in English: So British!
Practise your English over a glass of wine!
Fancy practising your English, becoming more confident speaking, and meeting new people in a friendly atmosphere?
The Wine Tasting Room, situated in the heart of Bayeux, offers French wine tasting experiences conducted entirely in English, allowing you to discover French wine and wine-growing regions in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
With ‘A Glass of Wine in English’, the venue offers a sociable get-together centred around wine, specially designed for those who wish to practise their English whilst having a good time.
On the programme for this first evening: So British!
On Thursday 5 November, we’re off to the UK! British culture, traditions, expressions and the little quirks of our neighbours across the Channel will be at the heart of the conversations, accompanied by the discovery of an English wine.
For 1 hour and 15 minutes, Paul – a wine expert, native English speaker and former English teacher – will lead the discussions, help you find the right words, expand your vocabulary and guide you towards greater fluency in spoken English.
Here, wine is first and foremost a means of conversation and discovery!
All levels of English are welcome! You don’t need to speak perfect English – the main thing is to be keen to chat and get involved.
