Every year since 2009, Pierres en lumières has been bringing to light the famous and hidden treasures of Normandy’s heritage. As night falls, the ancient stones appear in their most beautiful light, thanks to the enthusiasts who bring them to life. Join us from 29 to 31 May 2026 for a few magical evenings.
A free event
The festival, which takes place in the 5 départements of Normandy (no need to name them, you know them by heart, don’t you?), is based on voluntary work and is free to the public. The event highlights the jewels of our heritage as well as the little hidden treasures. Castles, manor houses, industrial heritage, religious buildings, public buildings, town centres, villages, mills, etc. are all lit up to delight the eye.
Lighting and entertainment
Every year, hundreds of events await you in the four corners of Normandy. Guided lantern-lit tours, candlelit concerts, discovery tours, artistic performances, craft demonstrations, games… A colourful experience to discover with your family or your friends.
