Situated 3 km by road (1 km by footpath) from the D-Day landing beaches, the gîte provides quick access to the many museums, memorial sites and cemeteries along the coast. Cycling enthusiasts can take advantage of several cycle routes between Port en Bessin and Vierville sur Mer (vélomaritime ).
