Situated in Aure-sur-Mer, between Port-en-Bessin and Omaha Beach, L’Amirauté is a large family home measuring 240 m², surrounded by an enclosed, tree-lined garden. Just a stone’s throw from the coast and the main D-Day sites, it is an ideal base from which to explore the Bessin region and the Normandy coast.
Sleeping up to 12 people, the house comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living areas have been designed with family and friends in mind: a lounge with a fireplace, a large dining room where all guests can gather, and spacious areas to enjoy the house in comfort.
Outside, the 1,400 m² walled garden, planted with fruit trees and rose bushes, offers a peaceful and secluded setting, with no neighbours directly opposite. Garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue are available for enjoying the fine weather.
The beach at Sainte-Honorine-des-Pertes is within walking distance of the house. The coastline is ideal for walks and provides easy access to the many historic sites linked to the D-Day landings.
Omaha Beach and the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer are nearby. Port-en-Bessin, with its fishing harbour and shops, is just a few kilometres away. Bayeux, with its cathedral, historic centre and Tapestry, can be reached in around fifteen minutes. Caen is about 35 minutes away. Mont-Saint-Michel is also within easy reach for a day trip.
L’Amirauté’s location allows you to explore a particularly rich area, combining historical heritage, coastal landscapes, the Normandy countryside, fine dining and outdoor activities. Hiking, golf, horse riding and water sports are available in the surrounding area.
Guests have the entire house and garden to themselves during their stay.
The house has Wi-Fi. A public car park is situated about 50 metres away, with a charging point for electric vehicles.
