VISITING NORMANDY’s CôTE DE NACRE WITH A DOG

There’s nothing like a nice day on the beach with your entire family. And we mean your whole family — dogs included. The beautiful 12 km stretch of sandy beaches of the Côte de Nacre is already known as a section of the D-Day landing beaches, but as it turns out, it’s a pretty dog-friendly destination for your pup too. In the heart of Calvados, between Bayeux, Caen and Deauville, the coastline of the Côte de Nacre is an ideal holiday spot to combine the discovery of the history of WWII, outdoor activities and long beach walks as well as a chance to charge into the ocean for a little swim!
