L’USAGE DU PAPIER
L’Usage du Papier is an independent bookshop situated on Rue des Bains, right in the heart of Trouville-sur-Mer. It offers a selection of books and stationery, curated for lovers of sophisticated, little-known texts and beautiful objects.
On the shelves, new releases and bestsellers sit alongside forgotten authors, old and contemporary editions, classics and lesser-known works. Literature, fine arts and children’s books are carefully curated, with particular attention paid to the quality of the writing, translations and production. Here, content and form are equally important: a fine text deserves a fine edition.
The bookshop showcases committed publishing houses – some of which are small-scale, artisanal operations – and regularly organises meetings, events and book-signing sessions. The two booksellers are happy to share their favourites and invite you to (re)discover new works.
The stationery section, also carefully curated, will delight lovers of paper and typography. You’ll also find a discerning selection of cards and notebooks produced in our typographic workshop in Trouville-sur-Mer.
