Villerville Beach

Villerville's sandy beach stretches for several kilometres towards Honfleur and is only accessible at low tide. The beach is unsupervised all year round, so take care when swimming.
The beach on the Parc des Graves side is wilder, allowing you to get closer to the Roches Noires – Pointe du Heurt cliffs. The baths beach, further east, offers a pleasant promenade, bordered on one side by a long beach of fine sand, and on the other by Villerville overlooking the sea from the cliffs.

ACCESS
Access to the centre of Villerville is difficult by car, so we advise you to walk to the beach via rue des Bains (plage des Bains), rue de la Cabine or chemin des Fondrières (plage des Graves). In summer, parking is charged throughout the commune. Rue du Maréchal Foch and rue des Bains are pedestrianised every weekend from mid-April, on public holidays and during school holidays until mid-September.

SURVEILLANCE
The Graves beach bathing area is supervised from 1 July to 31 August 2026. There is no lifeguard surveillance of the Bains beach.

ANIMALS
From 15 May to 15 September, dogs are allowed before 10am and after 7pm on the Villerville beaches and at all times on the sea wall. Guide dogs for the visually impaired and assistance dogs for the disabled are permitted without restriction.
Horses are not allowed in the village (town centre, Parc des Graves).

WALKING FISHING
Although authorised for shellfish, shellfish (cockles, tellins, razor clams, mussels), gastropods (periwinkles, etc.), sea urchins and tunicates may not be fished on foot in Villerville all year round.
