Thury-Harcourt Climbing Club
Fancy giving climbing a go or taking up this sport all year round? The Thury-Harcourt Climbing Club welcomes children and adults to its climbing school and leisure section.
The climbing school offers climbing lessons for children aged 6 to 12, every Tuesday evening at the Thury-Harcourt sports hall. Supervised by an instructor, the sessions combine an introduction to indoor climbing, games, learning climbing techniques and improving skills, all in a fun atmosphere. Climbing courses open to everyone can also be organised during the school holidays.
The recreational climbing section enables adults and children to climb independently, with equipment provided and support from enthusiastic volunteers. Sessions take place on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, mainly at the Thury-Harcourt sports hall. Outdoor outings are also organised throughout the year, for example at the Rochers des Parcs in Clécy, in the heart of Suisse Normande.
