In the footsteps of a guide, this tour retraces 900 years of history.
The story of Ardenne Abbey begins in 1121, in the Middle Ages, at a time of feudal lords and the rise of Caen. Over the centuries, these walls were home to a religious community of the Prémontré order, then a farm, before becoming a place of resistance during the Second World War. In 2004, Imec found a suitable place to store its archives.
