[Scolaires] Cluedo géant immersif : Mystère au Château de Caen (offre Pass Culture)
Before or after a guided tour of Caen Castle, take part in a unique experience that transports you back to Normandy during the Hundred Years’ War.
Take part in a giant educational game of Cluedo to find out who poisoned Lord Alistair, the commander of the English garrison occupying the fortress.
Transported back to the heart of the 15th century, each team takes on the role of one of the social groups of feudal society (men-at-arms, bourgeois merchants and artisan builders) and explores the castle in search of clues.
The pupils conduct the investigation together to uncover the motive, the culprit and the murder weapon. A fully immersive experience is guaranteed for participants, who alternate between questioning suspects – played by costumed actors – and solving multidisciplinary puzzles linked to the Cycle 4 curriculum. Armed with an investigation sheet, they discover the daily life of a knight by trying their hand at sword fighting, search the castle archives during an escape game and are immersed in the life of a priest at Saint-Georges Church.
Educational materials are provided at the end of the activity.
Duration: A full day at the site, including:
– a guided tour of the castle (2 hours) with access to the remains of the keep and Queen Matilda’s Tower
– the ‘Mystery at Caen Castle’ activity (2 hours)
