[Schools] Prehistory and Protohistory – self-guided tour
A focus on the prehistoric and protohistoric collections at the Musée de Normandie, which cover the following major periods:
the Palaeolithic, the Neolithic, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. Examining the collections provides an insight into the way of life and dwellings of the
nomadic hunter-gatherers from the Palaeolithic through to the transition to a settled lifestyle in the Neolithic, tools and their evolution, diet,
fauna and flora, and the major technical innovations that characterised the period.
