[Schools] HOSTING A PERFORMANCE / A NEW PRODUCTION: “Fidji”
The school’s ULIS class has five pupils; five is the number of sardines in a tin, which is why Carla and the others call them ‘the sardines’. There are five of them, but only Fidji has a brother – and that brother is me. I’m the brother of a sardine, and sometimes that sardine really wears me out. Carla and the others don’t have brothers or sisters with socks that slip down and coats that are always inside out; they don’t have brothers and sisters who build boats out of vegetable crates and sticky tape. My sister is a sister unlike any other; it’s not always easy, I have to admit, but still, I tell myself that there aren’t many people in the world who can say they have a sister who wants to travel round the world.
The performance will be followed by a meet-and-greet with the creative team.
