[School] Performance: ‘It Starts with an Interruption’
Little white lies that mean nothing at all. Everyday lies. The ones that keep us going, that catch people’s attention, or that make us who we are. But being seen also means falling prey to judgement, minor inconsistencies and doubt. This show examines and unravels the art of ordinary little lies, the attention they attract, the minor inconsistencies and the doubt. Lying, telling the same story over and over again and forgetting certain details. What if the same story had several versions?
From little white lies to grand flights of fancy, where do the boundaries lie? What if the mundane everyday became exhilarating?
