At the mouth of the river Dun, make the most of the largest sand beach at low tide on the Alabaster Coast. Come and watch the fishermen launch and haul out the "dories" (typical fishing boats) on the seafront. Windsurfers are part of the entertainment when the wind is blowing. To the west, the access via the dry-hanging valley in Saussemare has become a top spot for kitesurfing.
Lifeguard patrolled swimming area in summer.
