Discover the story of a town miraculously transformed during the Second World War, from the Occupation to the Liberation, through the eyes of the children of Bayeux. They will tell you about their daily lives during the war, their feelings towards the occupying forces and how they sometimes helped to welcome refugees or care for the wounded in this "hospital town". As privileged and mischievous witnesses to events, the children of Bayeux have left us their stories and anecdotes. Young and old alike can play an active part in this history, thanks to a life-size role-playing game that takes them to the most emblematic places of the period. Games, soundtracks and archive footage allow families to understand the events that affected the first liberated town on the French mainland, in the aftermath of the D-Day landings, from a child's point of view.
