Introductory Sand Yachting Course in Honfleur
Discover sand yachting in Honfleur, an introductory activity open to those aged 12 and over (and to children aged 7 to 11 in a two-seater accompanied by an adult), available all year round on Butin Beach. Lasting 1½ hours and supervised by qualified instructors on a marked course, this session teaches you how to rig the sand yacht and steer it, so you can quickly experience the thrill of gliding and speed.
As for equipment, a helmet is provided. You will need to bring:
Glasses or a mask (sunglasses, prescription glasses or ski goggles) to protect yourself from sand and water
Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing
A windbreaker and a change of clothes
Gloves (gardening or ski gloves), which are also available for purchase on site for €5.
