Guided tours of the D-Day landing beaches
Take advantage of your stay in Normandy to discover or rediscover the key events of the Liberation. These tours will take you to the D-Day Beaches and the emblematic sites of the Battle of Normandy. Accompanied by a guide trained by our historians, come and enjoy a memorable and enriching experience.
The Caen Memorial offers two options to suit all tastes:
* The Discovery Day
A day to discover the Caen Memorial and the Normandy Landing Beaches. From the Pointe du Hoc to the Colleville American Cemetery, via Omaha Beach, follow the guide and let yourself be told the story of D-Day.
This package includes :
> A self-guided tour of the Memorial and its museum areas dedicated to the Second World War, the D-Day Landings and the Cold War (the visit to the Memorial and the guided tour of the D-Day Landings beaches can be done on the same day or on two different days).
> The bilingual guided tour of the D-Day landing beaches in a minivan (7 people + guide + driver. For children aged 3 and over. Vehicles are not suitable for wheelchair users).
– Pointe du Hoc > Omaha Beach > Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery
– Departure every day at 1pm from the Caen Memorial
– Tour duration: 5 hours

Arriving in Caen by train? Treat yourself to an unforgettable day on the D-Day landing beaches. Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. Relive the history of D-Day with the services of a guide throughout the day (Monday to Friday, except public holidays).
This package includes:
> Pick-up at Caen SNCF station at 9am by a guide.
> Bilingual guided tour of the Second World War areas of the Memorial.
> Lunch at the Restaurant “Les Pommiers”.
> Bilingual guided tour of the D-Day landing beaches in a minivan (7 people + guide + driver. From 3 years old. Vehicles are not suitable for wheelchair users).
– Pointe du Hoc > Omaha Beach > Colleville-sur-Mer American Cemetery
– Departure at 1pm Monday to Friday from the Caen Memorial (excluding public holidays).
– Tour duration: 5 hours
> Drop-off at Bayeux SNCF station at 6pm.
