The workshop invites the public to experience a unique dialogue between fragrance and visual art, where paintings and photographs come to life through the sense of smell.
Johann Vitrey-Tardif, an international expert in artistic perfumery, and Charlène Robin-Maire, co-founder of POPPY and originally from Bény-sur-Mer, guide participants through a unique multi-sensory experience.
Johann unveils the hidden world of perfumery – its links with art, the senses, beauty, pleasure and wellbeing – whilst Charlène presents bold and original olfactory creations. Participants are encouraged to share their personal reactions – pleasure, unease or emotion – before taking on a fun challenge: matching mysterious fragrances to the works of art on display.
