Dive into the heart of maritime discovery with a trip between Cherbourg and the island of Tatihou, combining immersion in the underwater world, historical exploration and educational workshops in contact with nature and science.
Day 1
In Cherbourg, visit to the Cité de la Mer, a theme park on the adventure of man under the sea: the abyssal aquarium and its 16 themed basins, the reconstruction of part of the Titanic, the submarine “Le Redoutable”, the great gallery of machines and men. Visit followed by an educational workshop on the theme of your choice.
Day 2
Welcome to the island of Tatihou, a natural and historical jewel ideal for school outings! Accessible at low tide on foot or by amphibious boat, Tatihou offers guided tours of the local flora and fauna, marine biology and defensive architecture. Students can also take part in exciting experiments in the maritime laboratory.
