Fancy taking part in a gentle activity that will allow you to explore the surrounding countryside? Come and enjoy a unique experience as you explore the meandering course of the Touques by kayak! Set off to discover the exceptional flora and fauna of this part of Normandy on our 8 km route, organised by Concept Sport Emotion.
The Touques is a 108 km-long river which rises in the Orne at Gacé and flows into the English Channel at Deauville-Trouville. Concept Sport Emotion offers an 8 km route, from Pont l’Évêque to Saint-Martin-en-Chartrain, which will give you a glimpse of the region’s biodiversity.
After just one, two, three bends, you’ll find yourself right in the heart of nature, where mallards and the songs of kingfishers will accompany you throughout your journey. You can even take a short break to have a dip in the waters of the Touques before arriving at Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains.

• Suitable for: anyone who can swim (swimming proficiency declaration or official certificate)
• Number of participants: maximum 10 people, minimum 2 people
• Equipment: 1-seater or 2–3-seater kayaks suitable for all skill levels
• Equipment provided: safety gear and neoprene wetsuits if required (our wetsuits allow you to enjoy water sports even in the middle of winter)
• What to bring: swimwear, towel, a change of clothes, sunglasses, a cap and sun cream
• Duration: 2 hours
‘Famille Plus’ label: two adults and at least one child aged over 9 – 10% discount
The water sports guide is a state-qualified professional. The activity will be cancelled in the event of a storm. The activity may go ahead in the event of rain (with suitable equipment), wind or slightly choppy seas. We check the weather regularly and undertake to try to notify you 48 hours before the activity if we have to cancel it due to unsuitable conditions. In such circumstances, you will not be charged any cancellation fees.
