Deauville Yacht Club (DYC)
The Deauville Yacht Club is a club accredited by the French Sailing School and affiliated to the French Sailing Federation. It also holds the ‘Coach Plaisance’ accreditation.
Founded in 1928, the club’s aim is to introduce people to, teach and practise water sports, organise sailing and motorboat races, and all related activities.
The DYC offers opportunities to take part in competitive and recreational sailing, whatever your level.
A bespoke programme is available for corporate events.
Come and meet the qualified instructors at the Deauville Yacht Club (DYC) to try your hand at cruising. The DYC is the only club in Calvados to specialise exclusively in this type of sailing and is a true benchmark in the region. From beginners’ courses to advanced training and taking part in regattas… Whether it’s recreational or competitive sailing, the DYC is the place to be!
The Deauville Yacht Club organises more than 15 regattas every year. With 250 members, it is the leading club in Lower Normandy in terms of membership numbers.
Our modern clubhouse is situated right next to the two towers at the marina.
