Blonville-sur-Mer Beach
Accessible from the town centre, Blonville-sur-Mer beach is lined with small boardwalks running alongside a children’s club and a sailing club. Here, you can hire all-white beach huts and white and blue parasols set against a backdrop of stunning seaside villas. Further on, Goblins Beach takes on a wilder character. This is the starting point for the Blonville-Villers Marshes and their nature walks, then on to Villers-sur-Mer, where another story begins.
ACCESS
Access the beach via the following streets: Rue de Hoinville, Rue Louise, Rue Laforge, Boulevard Marcelle Lechanteur, Rue Pierre Jacquot, Rue Chevalier, Avenue Michel d’Ornano (opposite the beach campsite and opposite the marsh). You’ll find parking spaces on all the streets leading to the beach and their side streets. These are free parking spaces. You will also find a car park in the blue parking zone (from 15 June to 15 September) between Rue Jean Duchemin and Avenue Michel d’Ornano, near the Centrale pharmacy, as well as on the market square.
ACCESSIBILITY
A Tiralo is available on request at First Aid Post 1 upon presentation of ID. The transport and movement of people with disabilities are the responsibility of their families and carers.
ANIMALS
From 1 April to 30 September, animals are permitted on the beach before 10.00 and after 19.00. Dogs must be kept on a lead and horses must be ridden or harnessed. Between 10.00 and 19.00, dogs are only permitted on the boardwalks, kept on a lead. Owners must pick up after their dogs or face a fine.
LIFEGUARD SERVICE
The beach on the Rue Charles Laforge side, in front of Lifeguard Post 1 (+33 02 31 87 92 94), is patrolled from 1 July to 31 August.
During the same period, safety for swimmers in the area around Lifeguard Post 2 (+33 02 31 87 81 90), Hameau Gobelin-Blonville Ouest beach, is ensured by the installation of an emergency terminal with a direct link to Lifeguard Post 1 and the emergency services (112).
