Watching the wind blowing into the sail, listening to the seashells crunching under the wheels, feeling the breeze on your face, etc. Lovers of the great outdoors, whether beginner or experienced, will be able to enjoy a taste of speed and thrills provided by sand yachting from the very first minutes you start piloting. The beach of Saint Aubin sur Mer-Saussemare is the largest sand beach in Seine-Maritime and the ideal place to try sand yachting. Just after the tide, the sea recedes and the beach becomes a huge playground where only the yachts draw lines on the still-wet sand. All year round, depending on the tide, sand yachting sessions are organised by the Sports Department of the Alabaster Coast Community Council. Supervised by a qualified instructor, these two-hour-long sessions will allow you to learn the basics of sand-yachting and experience the thrill of speed and freedom that this activity offers.
