Asnelles Beach

Asnelles-sur-Mer is a seaside resort situated a few kilometres from Bayeux and has a beautiful beach of fine sand, which poses no danger to bathers. In July and August, the beach is lifeguarded.

Information 2026: from 1 July to 15 September, pets are not permitted on the beach between the Saint-Côme-de-Fresné blockhouse and the Gronde estuary. However, they are permitted on the beach, provided they are kept on a lead, from the Meuvaines slipway to the Gronde estuary.
