The opening of the Biscuiterie de Quinéville in Bernières-sur-Mer adds a real touch of indulgence to the Côte de Nacre. Ideally situated on the Place du 6 Juin, it enjoys an exceptional location, literally a stone’s throw from Juno Beach and the legendary Maison des Canadiens (the famous historic house that was one of the first to be liberated during the D-Day landings). This spot offers a varied selection, perfect for a break after a stroll along the seafront:
The original concept of the Tarterie Artisanale: homemade tarts available by the slice and traditional recipes (Tarte Tatin, apple frou-frou, old-fashioned flan, etc.).
The Tea Room & Terrace: A very welcoming space just a stone’s throw from the sea (with a seafront terrace) where you can enjoy a hot drink or a bowl of cider.
The Biscuit Shop: The famous artisan biscuits that have made the establishment’s reputation in the Cotentin (shortbread, tuiles, crunchy biscuits, Calvados biscuits or caramel chip biscuits).
Delicatessen & Local Specialities: A fine selection of treats and local Norman produce to take home as a gourmet souvenir.
Closed on Mondays (except during peak season: July/August)
The added bonus: Everything is handmade using ingredients rigorously selected mainly from Normandy (fresh butter, local flour, caramelised apples).
A selection of ice creams is available to eat in or take away.
An unmissable gourmet destination to delight your taste buds!
