Trouville-sur-Mer Book Fair

The Saturday 24 October at 14 a.m30

Salon des Gouverneurs 14360 TROUVILLE-SUR-MER

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, the Salon des Gouverneurs at the Casino Barrière will host the latest edition of the Trouville-sur-Mer Book Fair. Grab your bookmarks, get set… Let your imagination run wild!

Since 2002, this literary event has taken place every October, giving the public the chance to meet French-speaking authors from both the local area and further afield. Around forty writers will be in attendance for two days of discussions, book signings and themed panel discussions. From famous authors to emerging talents, including winners and nominees of major literary prizes, this fair brings together a distinguished crowd at an event open to all.

This year, the fair is reconnecting with its history: it is reverting to its original name, Trouville-sur-livres, as well as the poster designed by Raymond Savignac for its first edition. It also introduces two new features: a patron, Laurent Mauvignier, winner of the 2025 Prix Goncourt for *La Maison vide*, and a Readers’ Prize awarded by the residents of Trouville.
