This one-man show delves into the life and daydreams of Martial Richoz, known as ‘L’Homme bus’, a well-known figure in Lausanne. Fascinated by trolleybuses, whose sounds he would faithfully imitate on the city’s pavements, he was committed to a psychiatric hospital in 1986 on the pretext of disturbing public order. In a fictional diary-poem, this man’s life becomes an inner odyssey, an imaginary realm that echoes a cruel reality: the way we treat people who are not like us.
