Live Radio
Once upon a time, there was a series of radio programs about youth engagement around the world. Journalists Aurélie Charon and Caroline Gillet wanted to take it a step further, to bring the participants together, to %AB gather them in the same place, at the same time %BB. Radio Live took shape as a dialogue in front of a live audience, bringing together socially engaged young people from Gaza, Rwanda, Syria, Lebanon, and France. There are three of them on stage, and through their personal stories, they share intimate, familial, artistic, or activist experiences that have been shaken by the violence of conflict. Live drawings and filmed testimonies enrich the narrative. The live musical accompaniment on stage weaves the thread that connects these life stories. Moments of life and memory are reinvented every evening. We are presenting two parts of this long-term project.
A production presented by Tangram, National Theater
Presented as part of MILLENIUM 2027—European Year of the Normans
