Theatre: ‘La Raison du plus fou: Rousseau vs Diderot’ by Franck Mercadal

When Rousseau published his *Confessions*, in which he attacked his former philosopher friends, Diderot grew fearful. The rift between the two former friends becomes, over the course of a game of chess, a confrontation as brilliant as it is exhilarating.

Between one man’s intimacy and the other’s ambition, their visions clash with panache. Driven by lively, ironic and delightful exchanges, the play blends laughter and reflection in a duel that is as biting as it is profoundly human. May the best man win!

A theatrical comedy straddling political reflection and contemporary satire. Starring Grégori Baquet and Franck Mercadal.

Suitable for ages 12 and over.

Online booking opens on 1 October.
