Théâtre "Au non du père"
The Tuesday 13 April at 20 a.m00
Espace culturel Louise Colet rond point de la Victoire 27130 VERNEUIL D'AVRE ET D'ITON
Tuesday, April 13, 2027, at 8:00 p.m., at the Louise Colet Hall in Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton, come cheer on the Madani Compagnie.
Anissa is searching for the father she has never known. When she stumbles upon his trail in a truly incredible turn of events, Ahmed Madani urges her to set out in search of him and accompanies her on this unlikely adventure deep in the heart of New Hampshire. From this journey emerges a performance in which two perspectives intertwine: Anissa’s, which is deeply moving, and Ahmed’s, which is supportive. Together, they explore kinship, freedom, the serendipity of encounters, the notion of destiny, and the place of art in our lives.
A tender ode to resilience, punctuated by chocolate and caramel pastries to savor together. A gateway to discovering the theater.
“Ahmed Madani has a gift for gathering stories and transforming intimate narratives—woven from tragedy and comedy—into unforgettable theatrical experiences. (…). His new production, *Au nom du père*, offers audiences a slice of life, in the fullest sense of the term.” *Le Monde*: Sandrine Blanchard, 2022
