No tiered seating, no cushions, three bearded, studded-jacket-clad roadies busy hauling crates… Will the show go ahead? It’s a safe bet that it will, because beneath their gruff exterior, these odd stage managers, who look like ogres, are preparing to bring to life – with the audience’s help – something incredibly tender and utterly spectacular.
