The Franciscan Sisters on Stage: On the Run – Clarika & Barbara Carlotti

Clarika and Barbara Carlotti celebrate cinema’s greatest heroines through the songs associated with them. A concert in which music and images interact to tell the story of the desires, struggles and transformations of female figures who have become legendary.

From *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes* to *Thelma & Louise*, from *Cleo from 5 to 7* to Jacques Demy’s musicals, this concert revisits the songs that have left their mark on the history of cinema and accompanied unforgettable heroines. Performed by Clarika and Barbara Carlotti, accompanied on the piano by Émilie Dautricourt, they trace a poignant journey through the dreams, rebellions, solidarity and emancipation of these heroines. Each piece sheds light on a cinematic moment whilst resonating with today’s concerns. Directed by Emmanuel Noblet, *En cavale* offers a musical journey where the memory of films meets the power of the voice.

A delicate tribute to women’s stories that continue to inspire our perception of the world.
