The Christmas Workshop: the creative workshop
The Wednesday 09 December at 14 a.m30
Mémorial de Falaise 14700 FALAISE
On Wednesday 9 December at the Falaise Memorial, make your own Christmas garlands and decorations just like families did during the war!
During the war, Christmas was celebrated more modestly. To cope with shortages, families used their imagination to create their own Christmas decorations. With the help and guidance of a guide from the Memorial, come and make your own decorations, and have fun just like children of yesteryear did with cut-outs and colouring pages from Liberation-era picture books. You can also create your own designs and take them home.
Practical information:
– Wednesday 9 December at 2.30 pm (duration: 1½ hours maximum)
– Free workshop for children aged 4 to 12 (an accompanying adult must be present)
– Booking required (limited places): 02 31 20 02 97 or [email protected]
