As part of the SPOT event (organized by the Eure Department), Japanese artist Makiko Furuichi is bringing her work to Vernon’s iconic heritage sites. Her poetic world—inspired by Japanese folklore (yōkai), dreams, and humor—will once again enchant three major sites:
– In front of the Vieux-Moulin (La Seine à Vélo): A temporary floor mural, evolving from vibrant floral motifs into an aquatic world populated by water lilies.
– The Château des Tourelles: Two monumental canvases suspended between the towers, depicting spirits and characters brought to life by the wind.
– The Archives Tower (Jardin des Arts): The spectacular reinstallation of her inflatable Moon (as seen at Fontevraud Abbey), placed right on the lawn.
