SPOT – Par l'artiste Lucie Reverdiau
The Friday 30 October
Collégiale Notre Dame 27200 VERNON
September 18–December 5, 2026
As part of the SPOT event (organized by the Eure Department), French artist Lucie Reverdiau, who specializes in plant sculpture and immersive installations, creates poetic landscapes using branches, bark, and natural fabrics. She takes over a landmark site in Vernon:
Notre-Dame Collegiate Church – L’Envolée (Site-Specific Installation): An ethereal composition of suspended flowers made of bark fabric that spans the sacred space. Conceived as a mirror image of the rose window above the organ loft, the work creates a dialogue between birch branches and the organ pipes. Its hues, inspired by stained-glass windows, give form to light and pay a poetic tribute to Claude Monet’s passion for flowers and three-dimensional Impressionist painting.
