Friday, March 26, 2027, at 8:30 p.m., at the Louise Colet Hall in Verneuil d’Avre et d’Iton, come cheer on the circus duo accompanied by live music from the GA%CFUS Company.
With a “Pan” of exclamation. Because we refuse to take ourselves too seriously. “Pan” also represents our connection to mythology. The two of us together form a hybrid being—half-god, half-man. And through our hand-to-hand acrobatics, that’s exactly what we want to explore: the multiple meanings of the relationship between two men. Together, who are we? Our respective first names lead us, at the very least, to imperialism. This is what drives us toward lightheartedness, toward derision. But here’s the thing: we’re serious. Serious with as much lightheartedness as possible. Serious in our training and technical exploration, yet lighthearted in our desire to exist beyond mere virtuosity. What draws us in are those small moments of grace. Moments whose painstaking creation we keep secret, in collaboration with our musician, to offer poetry.
Performance presented as part of SPRING, the festival of new forms of circus in Normandy, from March 17 to April 11, 2027. Presented by Plateforme 2 Pôles Cirque en Normandie, La Brèche in Cherbourg, and the Cirque-Théâtre d’Elbeuf. SPRING is co-produced with the Rouen Normandy Metropolis within its territory.
