Show: 100 Years on Stage
The Saturday 23 January at 20 a.m00
Salon des Gouverneurs 14360 TROUVILLE-SUR-MER
In 1925, Trouville-sur-Mer celebrated the centenary of its seaside resort with the publication of a musical booklet. A century later, in 2025, the town has brought this revue back to life thanks to the theatre company Les Débouvetés, which had set part of it to music.
As 2027 gets underway, the show returns with new excerpts and on a grander scale. This time, it will be performed by the Sorbonne University Choir and Orchestra – 80 young musicians coming together on stage to bring Trouville’s musical heritage back to life.
Join us on Saturday 23 January at 8.00 pm in the Salon des Gouverneurs at the Casino Barrière, for an evening where the history of the seaside resort is told through music.
Combining seaside nostalgia with the grandeur of an orchestra, this is a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the tunes that have accompanied Trouville-sur-Mer’s first hundred years.
