Play: Madame Marguerite. Directed by Maryse Nanot

🎭 Don’t miss “Madame Marguerite” in Pont-l’Évêque!

Madame Marguerite, a tragicomic play based on the work of Roberto Athayde. Immerse yourself in the unique and off-the-wall atmosphere of this classroom like no other, directed by Maryse Nanot.

👩‍🏫 About the show

Come and discover the striking portrait of Madame Marguerite, a schoolmistress who is at once pitiable, a pawn, a victim and a tormentor. Through her character, the play highlights how a human being, silenced by a system, ends up taking on the role of a tyrant. In this hard-hitting parody, Madame Marguerite goes mad… simply because society itself has gone mad.
