‘Matière de songe’ Exhibition

After a wonderful year marked by exhibitions – including those at the Rencontres de Saint-Céneri and the Ancien Prêche in Pontorson – it is a particular delight for Laure Exposito to return to the Côte Fleurie. Having lived in Honfleur for 35 years, it is with great emotion that she once again walks the cobbled streets of the town she holds so dear.
From 21 October to 1 November, the artist invites the public to come and discover her ceramic paintings at the gallery located at 17, rue Cachin. She will be delighted to be present every afternoon — which is sure to bring back many memories! — Having now been based in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel for three years, her approach as a ceramicist and sculptor is rooted in a physical and poetic communion with the elements. Her work draws inspiration from the interplay between sedimentary slate, porcelain and the poetry of Raku.
The opening will take place on Wednesday 21 October from 5.00 pm. The evening will continue with a communal meal.
