Les Petits Champions de la lecture
The Saturday 21 November at 14 a.m00
Médiathèque de Vernon 27200 VERNON
Take part in a big national read-aloud contest! With the support of a group and a librarian, you’ll bring a young adult novel to life with your best voice—and maybe even become a Little Reading Champion!
The media center invites you to become a Little Reading Champion! Join us to prepare, in a fun and friendly atmosphere, for a major national contest!
The contest is open to ALL fourth- and fifth-grade students, with no selection process. How does it work? You choose a novel of your choice and read it aloud in front of a supportive group.
Does that sound intimidating? Don’t worry! From September 2026 to January 2027, we’ll meet at the media center every month to practice. The finalist from the library group will go on to the departmental finals, and the adventure may continue to the regional and then national levels in the spring of 2027!
Attendance is required for all sessions:
– September 26, 2:00 p.m. – first session
– October 17, 2:00 p.m.
– November 21, 2:00 p.m.
– December 12, 2:00 p.m.
– January 16, 2:00 p.m.
– February 20, 2:00 p.m.
For fourth- and fifth-grade students, without parents.
Free with registration on-site at any library in the network or by calling 02 32 64 53 06.
