In the Bolivian highlands, the residents of the village of Tomave grow quinoa and raise llamas. They dress up, sing, and laugh to call for rain, and throw firecrackers and confetti for Mother Earth. But agricultural engineers from the city are circling the village, armed with agricultural technologies and determined to streamline traditional practices.
This is the prelude to a strange masquerade.
The screening will be followed by a discussion.
