La Pomme empoisonnée

The Sunday 29 November at 17 a.m00

Centre Culturel Guy Gambu 27950 SAINT-MARCEL

Synopsis of the show:
Echoing a famous fairy tale, this story begins with a poisoned red apple sitting on a table. And a question: Who put it there—the mother-in-law or the daughter-in-law?

In 2015, Julie Annen left Belgium to settle in Switzerland with her current husband. She has two sons, and he has a daughter: Ana. Julie thus officially became her stepmother—in other words, her mistress.

Lacking a satisfactory role model, they had to learn to navigate this new relationship.

*The Poisoned Apple* is a play about blended families and our ability to live together. It tells the story of the journey toward an unexpected bond, forged despite arguments and misunderstandings.

A performance designed to open a dialogue about new family models.
