La Cidrerie – Yom & Ceccaldi, "Le rythme du silence"

As part of the "Tournée sous les pommiers #3," an initiative of the Coutances Jazz Reference Center

Following the success of the “Alone in The Light” tour as a duo with pianist Léo Jassef, clarinetist Yom continues his quest for spirituality and transcendence in a new trio project with the Ceccaldi brothers.

Structured like a long meditation, the concert takes the form of an uninterrupted set, in which Yom’s compositions stretch out to reach a trance-like state.

Accompanied by brothers Théo and Valentin Ceccaldi on violin and cello, Yom sets out in search of uncharted territory, playing with space-time as much as with our perception of the real and the imaginary. Is this an epic journey through infinite landscapes or a dive into the heart of our inner worlds?

It doesn’t matter: silence resonates across all dimensions. And there, in this fragile expedition toward the rhythm of silence, are as many myths and stories to uncover as there are omens and promises to embrace.
