La Cidrerie – Quatuor Sedna, "Écho(s)"

Music

In a spatially arranged concert, the quartet primarily explores the contemporary repertoire, while allowing itself a few detours into modern music, in order to showcase the richness and diversity of its musical languages. Transcending stylistic and cultural boundaries—from Francis Poulenc to David Lang, including popular music and so-called “world music”— %C9cho(s) offers an eclectic and luminous interlude, conceived as a space for sharing in which everyone can find a connection.

The Sedna Quartet is an a cappella vocal ensemble dedicated to contemporary music. Driven by a desire to promote and make contemporary music accessible, the group places a central focus on works of today, developing close collaborations with composers. The exploration of new forms of sonic immersion, as well as the diversity of performance spaces, are also key focuses of its artistic research.
