A guided tour of the abbey, founded in the 12th century and now home to the Institut Mémoires de l'Edition Contemporaine (IMEC). From its foundation to the present day, including the battles for the liberation of Caen, discover the history of a site intimately linked to the history of Normandy.
Practical information
As places are limited, booking is essential. No tickets will be available on the day of the tour; payment must be made at the time of booking.
Bookings open on 7 October 2026, online and at the tourist information offices in Caen and Ouistreham.
