GdL26 – CONFERENCE: NORMANDIE MER'VEILLE, THE MARINE MAMMAL OBSERVER NETWORK

The Sunday 08 November at 11 a.m00

salle des fêtes quai Baron Gérard 14520 PORT-EN-BESSIN-HUPPAIN

Come and meet the GECC team to find out more about the marine mammals around us and how to recognise them. They’ll introduce you to their citizen science tool, OBSenMER – a platform and app available to download for free – and show you how to submit your sightings at any time, whether you’re an expert or not. Join the network by coming along to discover marine mammals!

To roll out the Normandie Mer’Veille network, it is being funded and supported for three years under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (FEAMPA), across the territories of the following GALPAs: Cotentin Peninsula, De Havres en Baie, Calvados Coast and Fécamp & Côte d’Albâtre.

Speaker: Maïlys BAUDOINT, Participatory Science Officer, Cotentin Cetacean and Channel Marine Mammal Research Group
