Forum – 2026–2027 Season | *Une Escale* by the In Itinere Collective

What if Falaise were to become the setting for a theatrical adventure? In 2027, the year marking the millennium of William the Conqueror, In Itinere is setting up shop in Falaise. The actors wander through the town and meet its residents: What remains of William’s legacy today? What is it like to live in his footsteps? What should we keep? What should we let go of?

Because every town has a story to tell, and every resident has something to say, from Monday to Wednesday, the artists will be out and about in local community spaces, organisations, shops and streets. They will listen, chat and soak up the atmosphere. Then, over two days, they transform these encounters into a unique, funny, generous and poetic performance.
