This autumn’s intergenerational event!
We are delighted to present the programme for the sixth edition of our flagship FLASH event, ‘Dance in These Times’.
It will take place from 5 November to 10 December 2026 in Falaise and the surrounding area
An awareness-raising day to explore cultural rights
Gain a better understanding of cultural rights, and explore how they are implemented in professional practice, grassroots projects and public policy.
This year’s event will focus particularly on how cultural rights set us in motion and drive change in our practices.

Programme
9.15 am – Welcome coffee
9.30 am – Opening and introduction of participants
9.45 am – An overview of fundamental rights
Cultural rights at the heart of human rights
10.45 am – ‘Dédale’ game on cultural rights
Exploring cultural rights
11.45 am – Break and setting up the ‘arpentage’ activity
12.00 – Survey activity using the educational kit
12.45 – Lunch: please bring your own meal (kitchen facilities available on site) or shops are within a 10-minute walk
14.00 – Presentation of regional resources on cultural rights + introduction to ODIA
2.15 pm – Case study analysis through the lens of cultural rights – Methodology and suggested cases
2.45 pm – Analysis of a collectively chosen case
Narrative, analysis in small groups, collective summary
4.45 pm – Conclusion
